Insole: Bio-based E.V.A. (57%, including 41% sugar cane), recycled E.V.A. (11%) and others (32%)
Outsole: Amazonian rubber (50%), mineral silica (26%), synthetic rubber (5%) and others (19%)
Made in Brazil - Suede is the underside of leather, sanded to give it a soft and smooth feel. It comes from farms in the Rio Grande do Sul region and is tanned in Brazil without harmful or prohibited chemicals. VEJA uses dyes that meet regulations and prioritizes responsible water use during the tanning process. Special attention is paid to water usage during the tanning process. The suede is also coated with water-repellent oils without PFCs (chemical compounds) to protect the shoes from light rain.
Advice
Using a washing machine is strongly discouraged to prevent altering the properties of the materials.
- Waterproof your shoes using a product appropriate for the material. Repeat every 3 to 6 months.
- Maintain the nubuck/suede leather of your shoes by brushing and dry cleaning. Finish by applying a suitable hydrating and renovating product.
- Let dry in the open air, away from heat sources (such as sunlight or radiators), to prevent discoloration.
